Christophe Huet - The Master of Retouching Posted: 30 Jan 2009 09:48 AM PST French retoucher Christophe Huet is a true photoshop Master! His work is fascinating. He is the one who creates the famous advertising for Playstation, but also some for  Nike, Motorola, Surfrider Foundation…. I spend an hour on his site looking all of his work, and the Best of all is that he has few working progress slideshows where you can see the process of each image, Like the one above… Its really interesting and inspiring. Song of the Day: [1/29] Posted: 29 Jan 2009 11:16 AM PST Beirut : My Wife Lost in the Wild Beirut released its third album this week, a double EP split between ‘March of the Zapotech’, which follows the orchestral band’s traditional sound as it mixes with Latin - in particular, Oaxacan - influences. But its the second half, the ‘Holland EP,’ where things get interesting. Recording under the name “RealPeople”, Zach Condon’s band incorporates electronic sounds and follows in the pretty paths of Portishead and Hot Chip. You can find the opening track “My Night with a Prostitute from Marseilles” around the internet, and I recommend doing so, but here I offer the stunning “My Wife Lost in the Wild”.
