Zac Posen Pre Fall 09 Collection Posted: 21 Jan 2009 10:27 AM PST Of all the Pre Fall 09 Collection I have seen so for far, Zac Posen’s is by far the most exciting. Posen was able  dial into a period by creating a collection that is closely inspired by the 1920’s - 1940’s, yet doesn’t look like anything we have directly seen from this time. I obviously love historical inspirations just as much as conceptual ones, but there is much more of a restriction in the historical reference which can take the ingenuity out of a collection based on something specific. I felt that Posen explored deep within this period and the limits of reinventing something fresh and new.
