Jemma Syk es is an award winning knitwear designer and a graduate from the Royal College of Art. This dress seems to have been a bit of a love hate topic that I have covered in the past on my own blog but I personally Absolutely love it.

The dress is called "The Elizabeth" and is entirely hand-knitted in 100% by Jemma Sykes certified organic wool. It was created for ethical fashion label Butcher Couture and the images in the post are from the album artwork of Maria Mena- Cause and Effect. I was displayed at Harrods until the dress was auctioned off at a breast cancer charity event.

Designers Home Design

Take a peek into the home of designer Max Azria. There are elements that I am a big fan of, I especially love the balance of warm and cold vibe throughout the different spaces. Look closely at the extravagantly gold leafed ceiling in one room and the strange textured ceiling in what seems to be the entrance. Would you live there?

We already featured some amazing fashion editorials shot by Craig McDean , but we never really feature hims as one of the top fashion photographers in the world ! Obviously represented by Art+Commerce. Craig’s shot for the most prestigious brand campaigns and Magazines. McDean originally trained and worked as a car mechanic before studying photography at Mid Cheshire College, He began his photographic career in London as a photographer’s assistant to photographer Nick Knight.

His early editorial work was featured in magazines such as i-D and The Face, which led to advertising campaign work for clients such as Jil Sander and Calvin Klein, and editorial commissions with Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue. More recently, McDean has photographed fashion campaigns for clients including Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Giorgio Armani, Oscar de la Renta, Yves Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein, and Estée Lauder. His editorial spreads are regularly featured in magazines including Vogue, W, and Another Magazine amongst others. Although primarily a fashion photographer, McDean has photographed portraits of celebrities including Natalie Portman, Joaquin Phoenix, Hilary Swank, Uma Thurman, the Olsen Twins and Nicole Kidman.
