RIP Shawn Mortensen Posted: 21 May 2009 11:27 AM PDT Celebrity and Fashion Photographer Shawn Mortensen passed away last month and its with an heavy heart that everyone and all the web send their condolences to his friends and family… Shawn’s hearty career as a photojournalist and artist took him around the world several times over, unselfishly spreading his endless supply of good vibes as he went. Particularly renowned for his portraits of musicians, artists, and entertainers, Shawn photographed a stunning array of pop culture demigods in his 20+ year career including Keith Haring, Tupac, Henry Rollins, James Brown, The Notorious BIG, Bjork, Jun Takahashi, Leo Fitzpatrick, Christopher Wool, Mark Gonzales, Ed Ruscha, Vivienne Westwood, The Bad Brains, Dash Snow, Grandmaster Flash, Neil Young, MIA, John Lee Hooker, Nigo, Sofia Coppola, Agnes B., Sonic Youth, The Beastie Boys, Keith Richards, Chloe Sevigny, The Foo Fighters, Everlast, Kraftwerk, Wu Tang Clan, and The Sex Pistols, to name but a few.

Bsided Espadrilles Sneakers Posted: 21 May 2009 10:32 AM PDT Wow how cool are those Espadrilles ??! As I’m from the Basque Country, I wear some all the time,  I also designed espadrilles collection for my Danish Friend Rubber Duck. But those one are really cool, French brand String Republic came up with their Bsided collection of ‘Faux sneakers design’ called The Artificial Sneaker and they looks really good ! Made as well in the Basque Country ( Gorra Euskadi),  Bsided is between the traditional rope-soled sandals and a more trendy and fashion touch with the sportswear side of the sneaker. Those are definitely some dope sneakers that i need to put my hands (feet) on !! Not on sale (yet) in the US but you can buy them on their online store THE ARTIFICIAL SNEAKER
