Audrey Tautou for Chanel No.5 Commercial Posted: 04 May 2009 11:17 AM PDT The player will show in this paragraph
Here is in Exclusivity ( should be released tomorrow: here ) the New commercial called ” Train de Nuit” ( night train ) featuring the New Coco Chanel French actress Audrey Tautou. Directed by Jean Pierre Jeunet (Amelie, Alien 4), the commercial was shot in the famous Orient Express. I love the mix of old movie feeling and new technology with the beautiful Leica M8. Chanel N5 commercial are always wonderful… like the 3 min movie or the infamous one with Estella Warren Backstage pics : Music by Billie Holiday : “I'm A Fool To Want You" Via Cyana.tv |
Brian Walker - Plastic Fantastic Posted: 04 May 2009 10:23 AM PDT Sydney-based artist, Brian Walker is a contemporary digital artist whose images explore and exploit the realm between fantasy and reality, recreating scenes that meld illustration and fashion with an element of surprise. Pop Culture inspired, its an interesting world of fashion mixed with half-women, half dolls in provocative, disturbing and unlikely situations. Walker is influenced by photographer David Lachapelle, "I’m interested in his ability to iconograph a scene from popular culture and to make it look so real that it is contrived. I would say our processes are similar, I use a lot of concept sketching as my works are highly manipulated, I have to plan almost every detail before a shoot to make sure I have every element I need. I meet with the make up artist, models and stylist to make sure things run smoothly and that they share my vision." |

Posted: 04 May 2009 08:56 AM PDT The Oliver Twists : Play the Part
We all love to go behind the scenes of any production and see how artists really work and who they really are. With this in mind, The Oliver Twists, a trio from Davenport, Iowa, comprised of Jamey Cummins, Phil Pracht, and Aiden Landman created this experimental video using studio session performance and interviews to explore new music and songwriting. The band is basically the brainchild and one of several projects featuring 24-year-old phenom musician Jamey Cummins (keyboard in The Oliver Twists). Jamey heads up some other bands (The Parrish Festival & Maylane) and does incredible solo work on banjo and acoustic guitar. Listen to “Play the Part” Here |
