..nothing much happens, but it's kind of hypnotic. The endless movement of large personal transportation machines as gasoline is converted into kinetic energy. Several hundred million barrels a day. On and on... and on.

The de Beaufort Transportation Initiative Plan calls for the gradual but timely replacement of the gasoline fleet with small electric-golf cart style vehicles. This transition will be coupled with a massive rebuilding of the transportation infrastructure funded by an immediate and enormous government investment and creation of private incentive programs-resulting in the expansion of public transit and railroad systems. It would also be a good idea to re-think our urban planning, creating communities that are pedestrian friendly and imagined on a human scale. This would mean the transformation of the box stores and strip mall business model into a more localized and widely dispersed hybrid stores system somehow associated with the larger business operation. I'm thinking franchise the corporate behemoth down to the mom and pop level. The American landscape needs to be re-thought and replaced. It really really sucks right now and is very de-humanizing.
